When you first enter the office you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and attentive receptionists.
They will give you registration paperwork along with paperwork that will help us begin to understand your current condition. If you’d like, you can save some waiting room time by printing off the forms here and filling them out prior to your visit.
If you have insurance, we’ll take a copy of your insurance card and check your benefits for you.
However, it is important to note, that while we strive to retrieve accurate information from your insurance company, we cannot guarantee that they will process your claims or pay as expected. It is for this reason, that it is always a good idea to contact your insurance company prior to receiving care. Your insurance company can inform you of your chiropractic and massage therapy benefits when performed by our practitioners.
Want to quickly check if we should be in-network with your insurance?
Once you’re registered up front, you’ll be escorted to our exam room where you’ll watch a short informational video on chiropractic.
After the video, Dr. Valente or Dr. Czapla will enter and begin a thorough examination to assess your condition; taking your vitals and performing a variety of tests, including range of motion, reflex, and orthopedic tests.
The doctor may or may not take x-rays, depending on their necessity in evaluating your condition. If the doctor took X-rays he may go over them with you after your examination or may schedule a following appointment to discuss his findings with you.
If chiropractic isn’t appropriate for your condition, one of our doctors will refer you to an outside specialist or other practitioner as necessary.
After your examination, it is likely that you’ll be able to receive an adjustment on the same day. If this is the case, you’ll be escorted to one of our treatment rooms. Next, Dr. Valente or Dr. Czapla will enter the treatment room and proceed with your adjustment.
During the course of your care Dr. Valente and Dr. Czapla may give you exercises, stretching instructions, or coordinate care with other doctors and massage therapists to best help with your condition.
