What to expect,

The Details

Every patient experience at Valente Chiropractic is interesting and unique.  We strive to be disciplined and caring with everyone, emphasizing a continuity of care for our patients.  

Hello

When you first enter the office you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and attentive receptionists.

Paperwork

They will give you registration paperwork along with paperwork that will help us begin to understand your current condition(s).  If you would like, you can save some time in our waiting room by printing off these forms here and filling them out prior to your visit.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we’ll take a copy of your insurance card and check your chiropractic/massage therapy benefits for you.

However, it is important to note, that while we strive to retrieve accurate information from your insurance company, we cannot guarantee that they will process your claims or pay as expected.  For this reason, it is always a good idea to contact your insurance carrier prior to receiving care.  Your insurance company can inform you of your chiropractic and massage therapy benefits performed by our practitioners.  

Exam

After a brief video introduction and basic vitals taken by one of our chiropractic assistants, one of our chiropractors will enter the exam room and begin a thorough examination to assess your condition(s).  This examination will cover a range of procedures, but it will focus mostly on some specific orthopedic, range of motion, reflex, and strength tests.  

Depending on their necessity, the doctor may or may not take x-rays.  If the doctor takes x-rays then he may go over them with you after your examination, or he may schedule a following appointment to discuss his findings with you.

Referral

If chiropractic isn’t appropriate for your condition(s), one of our doctors will refer you to an outside specialist or other practitioner as necessary. 

Treatment

After your examination, it is likely that you’ll be able to receive an adjustment on the same day.  If this is the case, you will be escorted to one of our treatment rooms.  Next, whichever doctor gave your initial examination will enter the treatment room and proceed with your adjustment.

During the course of your care, our providers may give you exercises, stretching instructions, or coordinate care with other doctors and specialists to best help with your condition(s).
